These terms apply to all services offered by Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC unless a separate written agreement signed by both parties states otherwise.

2. Nature of Editorial Services

Additionally, Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC does not guarantee: book sales, bestseller status, rankings on any platform, media coverage, or commercial success.

The author retains 100% ownership and intellectual property rights to their work at all times.

3. Publishing and Distribution Services

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC may provide professional assistance with publishing and distributing books through third-party platforms, including but not limited to: Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble Press, and other book retailers or distribution platforms.

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC provides technical assistance only and does not control the policies, algorithms, reviews, account decisions, delays, or operational procedures of these third-party platforms.

4. Author Royalties

All royalties generated from the sale of books belong exclusively to the author.

This means that 100% of the net royalties, after retailer commissions, printing costs, and distribution fees, are paid directly to the author by the publishing platform.

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC does not collect, manage, or distribute royalties unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement.

5. Responsibility for Author Content

The author is solely responsible for the content provided for publication, including but not limited to: written text, quotations, references, images, graphics, and copyrighted material.

The author guarantees that they possess the necessary rights and permissions to publish all submitted content.

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC is not responsible for any legal claims arising from the content provided by the author.

6. Customized Services

All services provided by Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC are customized professional services developed specifically for each author and each publishing project.

These services involve creative, technical, and strategic work that begins once a project is confirmed.

7. Payment and Refund Policy

Once a publishing project has begun, payments made for editorial services are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

Editorial services provided by Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC are structured in phases corresponding to specific stages of the publishing process.

Payments are applied to the work performed within each phase of the project. Services that have already been performed, partially performed, or delivered are non-refundable.

If a project is terminated at the request of the client, any services already completed will remain payable, and previously delivered work will not be subject to refund.

8. Project Cancellation

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC reserves the right to cancel or suspend a project in situations including, but not limited to: breach of agreements by the client, lack of cooperation during the editorial process, abusive or inappropriate communication, or behavior that prevents the professional continuation of the project.

If a project is cancelled, services already performed will be considered completed, and services not yet performed will be cancelled.

9. Unexecuted Services

If a publishing project is terminated before completion, any services that have not yet been executed will automatically be cancelled and will not create any obligation for future execution.

10. Completion of Editorial Services

Once a book has been formatted or prepared for publishing, uploaded to the relevant platform, approved for distribution, and the publishing links have been delivered to the author, the publishing service will be considered completed.

Any additional services requested afterward may require a new agreement or additional fees.

11. Sales Results Disclaimer

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC does not guarantee: bestseller status, specific sales numbers, rankings on any platform, or commercial performance.

Book sales depend on multiple external factors including market conditions, reader behavior, author promotion, and platform algorithms.

12. Marketing and Promotion

Marketing, promotion, advertising, and visibility strategies for the book are the responsibility of the author unless specifically included as part of a contracted publishing package or additional service.

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC may provide strategic guidance or promotional materials but does not guarantee commercial results.

13. Third-Party Platform Accounts

Accounts used for publishing and distribution, such as Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Canva, or similar services, are owned and controlled by the author.

Distribution platforms such as Amazon KDP, Amazon Marketplace, and other third-party publishing, printing, or distribution services operate independently. Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC does not control and is not responsible for the internal policies, content review decisions, printing processes, algorithms, listing visibility, distribution, availability, or account actions taken by such platforms.

All decisions regarding listing status, availability, printing, distribution, and sales are made solely by the respective platform according to their own policies and internal procedures.

14. Scope of Editorial Services

The services provided by Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC include the editorial preparation of the manuscript and assistance with the initial publication process.

Once the book has been published and the corresponding materials have been delivered to the author, any additional services such as revisions, technical updates, new editions, re-uploads, platform troubleshooting, or further management of publishing platforms must be agreed upon separately as additional services.

15. Creative and Promotional Services

Promotional materials such as interviews, launch videos, marketing graphics, or other publicity materials are creative and promotional services intended to support the visibility of the author's work.

Subjective opinions regarding the style, tone, or format of these materials shall not constitute contractual breach when the services have been delivered within the general scope of the agreed package.

16. Project Completion and Partial Refunds

In the event that the parties mutually agree to a full or partial refund in order to conclude the professional relationship, such refund shall be considered a good-faith resolution intended to close the project.

Any such refund does not constitute an admission of fault or breach of contract by Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC, nor does it create an obligation for the company to provide additional services beyond those already delivered.

17. Print-on-Demand

Books published through print-on-demand services such as Amazon KDP are produced directly by the platform's printing partners.

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC does not operate, supervise, or control the printing facilities, shipping processes, or physical production of books.

Once materials are approved and submitted for publishing, any modifications may require additional fees.

This service consists solely of technical assistance during the submission process. The author must provide: final articles ready for submission, complete content for upload, and platform credentials or access if necessary.

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC is not responsible for writing, approval, acceptance, or publication outcomes of such articles, as these depend on the policies of the academic platform.

If the related publishing project is terminated, any unexecuted academic assistance services will automatically be cancelled.

22. Intellectual Property — Author Rights

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, authorship, and ownership of the manuscript and book content, remain exclusively with the author.

Any work completed up to the date of termination will be considered delivered.

The Client acknowledges that the services provided by Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC involve creative, editorial, technical, and consulting work that requires professional time, expertise, and resources. Payments made under this agreement compensate for the professional time, labor, and creative services performed during the project.

Creative services are not subject to refund once delivered.

The Client understands that publishing services—including editing, formatting, cover design, marketing materials, consulting, launch preparation, and related creative work—represent professional services rendered regardless of the Client's subjective opinion regarding the final creative outcome.

Once work has commenced on any portion of the publishing project, payments made for services already performed are non-refundable.

The Client further acknowledges that publishing outcomes, including acceptance, visibility, platform review decisions, algorithm placement, or temporary restrictions imposed by third-party platforms such as Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, are outside the control of Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC and therefore cannot constitute grounds for refund requests.

In the event that the Client requests to terminate the project before completion, any remaining services included in the package may be cancelled at the discretion of Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC without obligation to complete future phases of the project.

Ana Silvia Lara Publishing LLC reserves the right to terminate the professional relationship immediately in the event of abusive, aggressive, threatening, defamatory, or dishonest conduct by the Client. In such cases, all work completed up to the termination date will be considered delivered services and no additional refunds will be issued.

Once final files are approved by the client and/or by the corresponding platform (including Amazon KDP or other publishing/printing services), they are deemed fully accepted, and no claims regarding content, design, or formatting will be accepted thereafter.

34. No Refund Policy

Due to the customized nature of the services provided, all payments are non-refundable once the project has commenced and/or materials have been delivered.

Payments cover time, expertise, and execution of the agreed service, regardless of the client's subjective perception of the final result.
